Refund Policy

At Soon Properties, we strive to deliver a seamless experience for both guests and property owners. Our refund policies vary slightly based on the nature of the service offered. Please review the appropriate section below.

1. Short-Term Rental Bookings

A. Standard Refund Policy (for guests)

Unless otherwise stated in the specific property's listing, our standard refund policy is as follows:

No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.

Guests who cancel due to verifiable emergencies (e.g. medical issue, travel restriction) may request a partial refund, reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

B. Non-Refundable Rates

Some special offers or promotional bookings are marked as non-refundable. These bookings cannot be changed, canceled, or refunded under any circumstances.

2. Property Management Services (for owners)

Soon Properties offers two pricing models: flat monthly fee or commission-based.

Flat Monthly Fee (USD 114.99/month per unit + $19.99 per extra bedroom):

Cancellations are eligible for a 50% refund if requested within 7 days of initial payment and before services have started.

After 7 days or after service initiation, no refund will be issued for that month.

Commission-Based Plan (25% of reservations):

No upfront payment is required.

Commissions are deducted only from confirmed bookings, so no refunds apply.

If you downgrade or cancel your property from management, written notice must be given at least 30 days in advance.

3. Real Estate Project Payments

For clients who reserve or purchase a property in one of our development projects (e.g., Soon Residences 1), the following refund terms apply:

Reservation deposits are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise specified in your purchase agreement.

Purchase payments (initial, installment, or final) follow the terms agreed upon in your signed contract and are subject to Dominican Republic real estate and escrow laws.

Clients who cancel before signing the final sales agreement may request a review and written approval for partial refund consideration.

4. Exceptions and Force Majeure

Soon Properties may grant refunds or credits outside the listed policies in the following circumstances:

Natural disasters (e.g., hurricanes, earthquakes) that make the property uninhabitable.

Government-enforced travel restrictions or bans.

Documented medical emergencies or death in the family (requires valid proof).

Each case is reviewed individually, and Soon Properties reserves the right to deny or approve partial compensation depending on the situation.
